Minimum grade:
  • Students must earn a minimum grade of C- in order to pass the course.
Grade calculation method:
  • Grades will be calculated based on the following breakdown:
    • 20% participation and attendance
    • 30% homework assignments
    • 50% final project
Minimum number of attendances:
  • Students are required to attend at least 75% of all lectures and labs.
  • Any absences beyond this limit will result in a deduction of 5% from the final grade for each additional absence.
Other requirements:
  • Students must complete all homework assignments and participate in in-class activities in order to pass the course.
  • Students must also complete a final project, which will be a team-based project focused on creating a functional AI application.
  • Teams will be required to present their final project to the class and will be graded on the quality of their presentation, as well as the functionality of their AI application.

Lectures

All lectures will be held on MS TEAMS. The access code is 8dfg4r2.


Labs

Labs will be held physically (i.e., face to face). Some materials can be put on MS TEAMS. We ask overdue students and extension students to express their option for the group with which they will participate in the laboratory by contacting the appropriate teacher.


Computer Vision

Minimum grade:

    • 50% final project

  • Students are required to attend at least 80% of all lectures and labs.
  • Any absences beyond this limit will result in a deduction of 5% from the final grade for each additional absence.
Other requirements:
  • Students must complete all quizzes and exams in order to pass the course.
  • Students must also complete a final project, which will involve implementing a computer vision application using a popular computer vision library such as OpenCV.
  • The final project will be graded on the functionality of the application, as well as the quality of the code and documentation.
